I like how everyone  just ignores  mcminn like we haven't beaten both of them handily  in the past ooletwah who mcminn and rhea are the better teams even though  we are smaller

Oh yeh, forgot about them too. Point was, I don't think Rhea is worried about moving up to 6A. Certainly tougher competition but we're not scared.   GO EAGLES!

Wow.....Rhea County in a close one, 34-27. Way to many penalty's and Gibbs attacked RC where it hurts.........through the air. Gibb's QB did a great job of picking Rhea apart. Eagles will have to do a better job next week against Ooltewah to stay undefeated. We are young but learning.   Go Eagles!

Gibbs has some fight and some speed. They never gave up even after those long drives Rhea put together in the second half and that says a lot about their team and coaching staff. Their QB is a pretty good ball player and fun to watch.

Too many penalties for the Eagles again last night. Part of it was youth and part of it last night was that one near sighted ref who made at least 3 questionable Holding calls.

Looks like we are trying to be more aggressive on defense but got to come up with a more consistent pass rush. I believe this secondary may be pretty good but could really benefit from more pressure on the opponent’s QB.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
