How about the Hawks whooping up on a talented Stratford team? 52-6!

A lot of you certainly didn’t see that coming.

Lots of MJ players in attendance tonight and the rumor mill is already rumbling. Best team in Wilson County in 1-3 years.

They beat a team that couldn’t beat most middle school teams lol. I bet Lazy boy Crouch is thrilled!!!!

I’m not sure of your arguments... so let me squash everything you have right now. Mount Juliet IS the best team in Wilson County, WE are way better than GH, our coaching staff is miles better than GH and our facilities are way better. And yes I’ll take perfectly cared for natural grass over turf..... Have fun celebrating a pointless win. Lmao

Congrats on the win. Stratford is maybe the 4th best team in their 3A region. Take the win be happy. Got over the first hill. Still have the mountain to climb.

Congratulations to Trey Perry, and  Curtis Grah on the Green Hill win! Your 3rd and 4th stringers from 2019 won a varsity game together against Stratford. Without those boys having some real weight program in their life it wouldn’t have happened. I’m sure it has diminished quite a bit since their time at MJ but make no mistake this victory is 100% theirs because of the MJ program.

The only kids Trey Perry and Grah care about are the ones they were illegally reaching out to begging to stay, not the ones who they were kicking out of the weighroom when they were still enrolled at MJHS.

I know you’re not sure.

2016 when Stratford reached out to MJ Trying to play 2017 and 2018 season openers but Trey Perry declined and SCHEDULED GLINCLIFF INSTEAD. Stratford scheduled CPA Instead because that’s what real programs do. 

now you have a first year program with a bunch of 14/15 year olds starting and they’re lining up against teams Trey Perry wouldn’t schedule.

Congrats on the win for GH.  I do believe they will have a good program in a few years...good athletes in their area.

Let's put this in context as well, Stratford has only been in full pads 3 weeks and played their 2nd game.  They are far from football shape, but not taking anything from the win, just stating the obvious.

Also glad they didn't put out blatantly false rumors this week about their opponent.  That is a good look and how you build a reputable program.

I know you wanna beat your chest but this Stratford team lost EVERYBODY to Graduation and transfers. Heck y’all should know because you have one of the kids. Shocked to see it 52-6 but not shocked y’all won
