Hillwood vs Hillsboro Oct. 23rd, 2020

OK Topper Fans....it's Hillsboro week! This game is big with Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) state playoff seeding hanging in the balance. The Hilltoppers enter the game 3-0 and Hillsboro is 2-3, but the Burros' defeats have been to great programs and just last week, Hillsboro upset Cane Ridge High School who has been a powerhouse program for several years running.

Hillwood is explosive offensively.  Hillsboro is very good and they've been battle tested.  This will be an interesting game in Metro on Friday night.

Playoff implications. Look for Hillsboro to be the more tested team having played Pearl, Beech, and Cane Ridge. Hillwood has had an easy schedule so far with Glencliff, Cheatham, and Hunters Lane. Hillsboro wins this one by 2-3 TD's.

Hahaha you're right. They are unbeaten in the games they've played on their schedule. Guess PC will have to play them for Metro superiority. That might get ugly

Game to be played at Hillwood but Hillsboro is the home team i think.  I believe 2004 is the last time Hillwood beat Hillsboro.  Based on what we have seen so far this season, Hillsboro and PC are a wash.  The Burros dropped a game winning TD with seconds left in the game if my memory is correct.  CR is close behind both these teams.  Until Hillwood beats Hillsboro, they remain the 4th ranked metro team imo.
