West still has home field advantage- WV may have offense, defense, special teams, coaching, team speed and athleticism- but West has home field and they can’t take that away.

You have to admit - Knoxville has done a very good marketing job telling everyone In the state how good Powell, Oak Ridge, West, Central , South Doyle - etc are and how 5A runs through KTown - Walker Valley gave notice last week that you ain’t all that.

To be clear, and coming from a WV fan/parent of player,... no one has claimed WV to better than West in any of those categories mentioned above. All of that has been taken out context.

*Powell is more athletic... and it’s true.

* WV plays extremely hard and has played very disciplined to date.... also true. 

* Powell, in the one game I watched, was not disciplined. 

It was also asked if pressure created the 4 INT. I said yes, but our DB are fast and well coached.

 

The above has evolved into WV is better in every category.... lol. Listen guys, WV knows it has to play it’s best to compete with West.

They were not mission multiplayer kids vs Bradley. Misinformation

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
