Three common opponents.  Both beat Spring Hill and Livingston Academy.  NHS beat Watertown, DeKalb lost to them.  Last year's game, at NHS mind you, was a blow out.  Hard to pick against NHS in this one.

They beat us by 4 points and we out gained them by several yards. We were within the ten several times and just didn’t put it in.

I’m saying that to say this, I wouldn’t look at scores especially last years. IMO I think Dekalb has  the better team, but unfortunately for them we found a way to put it in the end zone against them where we didn’t against Nolensville.

Both teams are good and this should be a really fun game to watch!

    • “Marion added 2 big time transfers but ER is still better as a whole. ER has a better QB/RB/TE than Marion I’ll give Marion the edge at Receiver for now. ER O line will be improved from last year though. Marion is the second best team in all of 2A imo behind ER and ahead of Huntingdon.” As I said in the ER thread. Huntingdon physicality could make problems for Marion if they do meet in the state championship. ER does still have more speed than Marion as of now. I’m gonna go watch the highlights of the two transfers and get back to yall and see if my perspective has changed.

    • Marion jumps Huntingdon in my preseason rankings but not ER. Upgraded at the 2 positions that ER is by far still better at.
