What a dominating performance in the finals by Columbia' Wadele Williams.... Williams took a major step all week as showing that he is the best PG in the entire State, capping it off with a 20 point, 5 assist, 5 steal game (including 4-8 threes) vs touted G Henry Harris, who was limited to 13 points on just 5-18 shooting. In fact 8 of Henry's 13 points came with Williams on the bench with foul trouble. Simply put, Harris could not get ANYTHING going against Williams stifling defense...

 

Columbia looked good, but must find more scoring outside of Wadele... The key may be the games of Jeremy Brown or Zack Walker, who both have the potential to take some of the offensive slack off Wadele..... Columbia will also benefit from the return this week of starting F Steve Gray, who is out with a shoulder injury.... Sparkman was a monster on the boards, with 8 of his 12 boards coming on the offensive glass......
