Congrats to our Lady Mustangs on getting the Gold Ball !   Congrats to Summertown on their great season.  This has been a tough year that started on top of an unfinished last season.   The team never took the easy route and played the toughest schedule in the state class A of any team that played more than 15 games.  We had 8 games with state championship teams or teams that finished 2nd in their state.  That's not counting Upperman which may have been the best we played.   This schedule prepared us for the week we would have.  We did not get the number of games we wanted and needed because of covid and a district tournament we were not allowed to compete in.  These young ladies and their coaches were determined not to let anything get in their way and that included a great Summertown team.  It's been a long time coming, but the State Champs Are The Loretto Lady Mustangs !

    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
    • The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
