Middle Tennessee Spring Football Wrap Up!

Recommended Posts

I was asked to put together a "Spring Wrap Up" show for 93.9 FM out of Tullahoma covering as many of the local teams as I could in the allotted time slot.   Show will air this Saturday from 9-11 am if you care to tune in.   Coaches I'll be chatting with about their teams:

9:00 AM-  Kenny Morson (Fayetteville)

9:15 AM-  Jake Tyre (Cascade)

9:30 AM-   Will Kriesky (Riverdale)

9:45 AM-    Kris White (Moore County)

10:00 AM-  Josh Puckett  (Shelbyville)

10:15 AM-  Justin Cunningham (Franklin County)

10:30 AM-  John Olive (Tullahoma)

10:45 AM-  Kevin Creasy (Oakland)

Again, the station specifically wanted schools in there listening area, so we didn't go outside that parameter.   All times are Central so we hope you'll plan on listening even if its not your area.   I'll post a link to the station's stream later this week for those interested in hearing from these coaches.

Thanks

Good show! Them Lynchburg boosters need to put a cell phone tower at that coach's house. Was his reception really that bad or did he not want to give out any team secrets? We have to wait for that Murphy man's book now. ha

Had issues with him and Franklin County Head Coach.   It happens sometimes.   Appreciate you listening to the show.

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
