bratman
Brentwood not even making it out of District says a lot about the impact of coaching in volleyball. Without Coach Campbell Brentwood became average. I started thinking, Page, Independance and Ravenwood were only really competitive when their coach was floating between teams. Father Ryan, East Ridge and GPS became non relevant when their long time coaches left. Other than Anderson County and Sullivan South has any program remained competitive at the State level with multiple and different coaches? clifford20
This isn’t the first time they’ve not made it out of the district. look back 10-12 years ago when 11 AAA had a very similar sitch
bratman
They would have won the State that year but an Asst coach subbed in an ineligible player and they had to forfeit. They actually won the match. Totally different.
clifford20
Wrong again BM. They didn’t get out of the district 3 years Jn a row when Ravenwood and Indy were winning.
Itsme12
Brentwood was a good to high level hitter away from going a long way. Eggleston's don't come around very often. I don't think you can say it is coaching because of a loss. with the makeup of the team BC would have lost as well is my guess.
