Really looking forward to this game, I have a couple of guys I played alongside in college with that are big supporters up there. Mostly just want a chance to get bragging rights on them as this game is mostly about getting things righted to get ready for a playoff run. Hope it is a good game and nobody has any injuries.

I think it may be closer than some people think. The overall record of teams Clay Co has played is 19-40. They have played 3, 1A teams, 2, 2A teams, 2, 3A teams and a weak 4A team.

   York's opponents are 25-34. and are 4, 2A teams, , a forfeit win over a 3A team, and one weak 4A team and 2 strong 4A teams.

I agree they don't play with the intensity of typical York teams. I wish they would play both Thoman players as backs. They need two strong backs. They have speed, but need more strength in the backfield.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
