UNIONVILLE WIN IN MY OPINOIN WAS NOT SO PRETTY.ONE GUARD HAD 15 TURNOVERS AND THE OTHER GUARD DOES NOT PLAY TEAM BALL. VIKES HAVE POST, ALLEN (SR)6'6", HAYWOOD(JR)6'5"

WOODALL (SOPHMORE)6'4". THE POST ARE DEFINATELY THEIR STRENGTH.IF THE COACH WILL IMPLIMENT A 75% POST GAME PLAN AND A 25% OUTSIDE SHOOTING PLAN WE SHOULD BE SUCCESSFUL.THERE IS NO WAY AN OPPOSING TEAM CAN DOUBLE COVER THREE TALL POST.

CONCLUSION: POST - POST UP!!!

GUARDS - PASS THE BALL TO THE POST PLEASE!!!!!POST

Here is my opinion on how 11a will end up this yr. I've done some research on the teams and i think they will end up as follows,

1.) Forrest or Culleoka

3.) Cascade

4.) Richland

5.) Eagleville

6-9.) Toss up?

As for anyone who doesn't think Jenkins has a backcourt threat, your wrong. Shankle is very worthy of that title, he didn't have a good showing at Huntland, but he had 18 against Summertown and 15 at Tullahoma. Shankle has also been rebounding and dishing the ball well to. Along with Schnapp and Mccone this team is very dangerous. They just have to play to there ability....I will agree with one thing though, Jamar Jenkins is the DEAL!!! I've been watching him for a couple of yrs and yes people, he is FOR REAL!! GOOD LUCK BOYS ...

Can anyone tell me why Culleoka is not without a doubt the team to beat in this district? They are not young, they are experienced. The same guys have been out on the floor for the last three years. They have seniors, experience, Holt, and are the defending district champs. They lost maybe 2 players and the players that have replaced them were pretty much the 6th and 7th men last year. Cascade and Forrest are good teams, and will be 2 and 3 in the district, but Culleoka has talent and even more potential fellas. Bottom line.

    • Congratulations to Huntingdon and Station Camp. Lots of good softball in Tennessee. Alcoa been media favorite last two seasons.
    • Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!
    • No doubt. ORC a good dude.
    • In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
