My father in law said y’all had an extra point blocked and a kick off return for a touchdown against you. Said your defense was the only thing kept you in the game. Is that not correct?

Both of those are correct. D wasn't bad just wasn’t what it usually is, and part of that is simply that the twins are just hard to bring down…. Refs being terrible helped us on 2 or 3 of Macon’s big plays. They moved the ball on us just couldn’t punch it in every time luckily.

Seems that officiating is already an issue statewide!!!

It’s bad, as much money as TSSAA makes you would think they could do some more in depth training… but hard for me to talk when I’m not doing anything to fix it.

Westmoreland has a good football team but not as good as they could be. I seen some tweeks that if changed they would be real good. As far as the refs Macon got hammered with penalties also more than westy got.

I not saying Macon has a better team but they was tonight. Two good teams went at it and played their butts off. Macon will be really good the next two years.

I will answer  in his absence . Hard fought high intensity game. Borders #7 was difference  maker.  However  still like the Eagles moxie and bend but dont break defense.  Westmoreland is an offensive playmaker away from being a real 2A contender.  Expect most of their games to be close and low scoring.  I like their chances in their Region but have to stay healthy.  I will give MC credit for a tough win but didnt see anything to make me think Westmoreland can't win their Region.

Postman got handcuffed by the cops after the safety for hollering on Macon co side in the press box. Not lying one bit! I missed the last 4 minutes of the game cuffed in the parking lot! Lawsuit pending

The odd thing was I was able to yell outside the press box until the safety we got to make the score 20-15. Then the sheriff told me to stop yelling. Last I checked this is America! I tried to use my rights as American and got slammed on the ground by a sheriiff

As far as the game we will be fine when the laws get some playing time and learn their plays. Hard to replace our wing back from last weeks game that went out with a neck injury. The borders are some really good players. They should be they was trained on the rockpile with our heart!
