That's me. Fayetville didnt block us. We turned it over giving them a short field and made a error in the kicking game by kicking it to their best player on kickoff when up 10-0. Our defense is one of the best.

fayetteville did a very good job of blocking your defense. i’m not sure what game you watched

sorry to break it to you but yall are known for your skill, not your linemen. Yall didnt block us and neither will gordonsville. Your qb and rb run well. really good players.

The qb had all day to pass the ball. The running backs had wide open holes to run through.

Fayetteville just had 2 lineman go play college ball off last year’s team and one this year currently has a d1 offer.

you obviously don’t know football you can’t have a qb and rb that run well if they don’t have blockers

Sorry but that didnt happen. Your qb and rbs are good runners. We couldnt consistently tackle those guys but Hackett will get that fixed. Keep telling your son at left guard that its all him for moving the offense.

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
