5A & 6A Round 1 Upset Predictions

Many games tonight will be blowouts, but does anyone see a possible upset anywhere that people may be sleeping on?

I remember in 2019 9-1 Gallatin hosted Summit who got to Gallatin late due to a traffic jam  and upset a Gallatin team that everyone including myself had penciled in for a rematch with Beech later in the playoffs. Summitt only went on to play in 3 straight state titles...

Any upsets anyone see brewing here in round 1?

I think Franklin County will have a good shot at upsetting the #2 seed White County. Franklin County has some athletes on their defense.

If they can stop Dowell and score i could very well see that happening.

Misread the thread title.  Thought we were talking upsets in Regions 5A 5&6.  The only upset I'd put a small amount on is FCHS over White Co.

These would be upsets on paper, but I could see...

Bearden over Dobyns-Bennett

Bradley Central over Science Hill

 

I think D-B and SHHS will both prevail, but there's no room for error for either of them.
