Just saw where coach Jacobs resigned at Bradford.

Tough job...  Gibson County girls basketball is sooooo good and most of the players go to Gibson County. South Gibson was really good last year and good this year but will fall off some next year. I don't think they have beat Gibson County,,,?

Merideth Jacobs is a good coach. Bradford has about 140 or so kids 9-12. Talent just isn’t there no more like it was when she played. Gibson County has a great program and a great system. We lose good players all the time because some kids just don’t want to devote the time to HS basketball. Lots of HS’s are seeing players not playing and lack of interest in all HS sports. As far as South Gibson, their girls have never beat Gibson County. I think a lot of it is mental too and are beat before the first whistle. They have good talent and good coaching. Just think what Gibson County would be if they hadn’t built another school several years ago.

Probably would be 4A and not able to compete in State. Just don't have the athletes to compete 4 A but if they were 3A with Gibson and South Combined it would be trouble.

They would be 3 A. We lost about 350 when they split. We are 450 ish now. Medina wouldn’t have grown like it has without the new school. It would have grown more but not like it has. GC would probably be 900-1000 students.
