Lebanon

After 3 straight state tournament appearances Lebanon, like most public schools, are going through a cycle of talent and rebuilding/reloading the past two seasons.   They have finished 2nd in the district the past 2 seasons to 2 very talented Cookeville teams.  Coach Barrett and the Devilettes will be a team to be reckoned with the remainder of the postseason as well as in the years to come.

This postseason? They were just beat handily by an average Green Hill team.

Coach Barrett is reaping the benefits of letting the inmates run the asylum. He has the Fr guards dad in the stand acting like a clown while the TK girl is on the court losing her mind every game. Good thing for Coach Barrett is that he recruited a lot of talent to one of the local MS in town to help out for when his daughter gets up there.

The district is terrible outside of Cookeville and I do not believe anyone sees a deep run for Lebanon or Green Hill.

Was up in Cookeville yesterday to watch my niece play for the Cavs. Not sure who the guy from Lebanon is but he could not be worse then what I saw from the Green Hill side. I was told it was the Blankenship girls step dad. That guy is a maniac and shouldn’t be allowed in the gym.  Lebanon looked good yesterday but not sure Wilson Central is any good at all. Lebanon has some young talent so I would assume they will be good in a year or two.

This is Aubrey’s DAD and I don’t hide behind screen names… I love to watch my child compete and will never apologize for being passionate. If there were more parents invested in their kids lives the way we are there wouldn’t be as many problems with our youth as we are seeing. If you personally have an issue with my behavior I’d love to meet with you personally and discuss it. I’m never in hiding that’s for sure!

There are some embarrassing posts in this thread due to major sour grapes from schools not even involved in the game Saturday.  Imagine being a grown adult going to a message board to talk trash about parents cheering for their kids - Lebanon or Green Hill.

Lebanon has a terrific basketball coach and program.  End of story.  They will continue to be really good as long as Cory Barrett is the coach.

Green Hill played a great game, likely the best of the season on Saturday, and won the game.  They played through adversity of a starter breaking her arm in the 2nd quarter.

I would suggest BigENS and WarEagl3 to take a lap.

Last year, you claimed to know the "Blankenship girl" from her time at BA. Before you make dumb posts, check your history that can easily be searched to see what you posted in the past.  I guess things are so boring at BA these days that you have to follow former players to trash their success.  I would do the same if Harpeth Hall blew me out of the gym.
