Will anyone in this district win their first region game besides Cookville?

Yikes.  That is a good question.  I will say that the way AB is playing right now that Green Hill is dangerous.  If they can get someone to make some 3's, and take away the double teams, they can definitely win first round.   The last two games she has played phenomenal!   I don't know what her stat line was last night but at one point they had 25 pts and I think she had 20.   If I were to pick another team in 9AAAA to win a game in Region it would be them.

Also Lebanon has the pieces if they can put it together.  It seems like they are lacking leadership from players on the floor.   I wouldn't be surprised if that was a divided locker room.   They have the talent but there is alot of ME ME ME on the floor.  But they have a chance with that much talent.

Ya, I believe both of the 2 vs 3 games could be interesting.

Coaching comes into play in tight region games. Cookeville and Gallatin may have the talent, but a strong advantage goes to the Lebanon staff.

Not sure about Gallatin but if you think the coach at Cookeville is less of a coach than the Lebanon staff then you havent watched them much.  That team is disciplined and plays under control.  They know their role and execute it.  You dont look at that team and see a bunch of true athletes but you do see hard workers that are coachable and work very well together.  I give alot of credit to Cookeville's coaching staff for that.

The Cookeville girls are hands down the best team in the region. They have done well for sure, but let's not confuse our opinions for results. No one would be shocked to see Lebanon make a run and no one would be shocked to see Cookeville lose to Beech, Gallatin, or Hendersonville.
