I agree, time for a new thread.

Stadium visitor side has been completely demolished.  How long before the new side is completed?

A few former Wave players have chosen to go a different route and transferred but I am hearing several walking the halls are joining the team.  Looking forward to seeing what the QB’s can do this year.  Both Jackson and Riley can sling it!

Has Coach Stroup hired any new coaches? Who is going to DC?

Only new coach that I know of is Wesley Inman who was the Portland HC.   There has been no announcement of any coordinators or who will coach what.  I know there are several positions open due to guys leaving with Watson.

Seen some great games sitting in those stands. Was there problems with the structure because its capacity was second to none on the visitors side. I do know the steps were extremely far apart and this fat old guy had issues with no railing. Will the home side be replaced also ? Still one of my favorite places to watch a game , right on top of the action. The Wave Yard , Lafayette ,Hartsville , Greenbrier ,Portland and Carthage about the only old style , on top of the action facilities left. I used to love our old Boyce Smith Field in Springfield prior to downsizing in 2005.can’t accurately date them but hear some games that the place was rocking . 1981 Springfield at Gallatin, Whites Creek at Gallatin playoffs ? South Pitt at Hartsville playoffs,Hartsville at Portland rematch 2000’s , Covington at Greenbrier 2000s , Hartsville at Carthage ?most were very cold but hard to beat atmosphere.

Yes there were some structural issues.  I loved having that big visitor side.  I got to see it overflowing several times and honestly this new smaller side will take a lot of time to get used to.  I think some of the bigger games to come will have a problem with fan overflow.  Getting extra room on the sidelines though is much needed.

I hear Stroup is 4 to 5 wide receiver offensive mind ! Look forward to The Green and Gold game this year .

Green Wave to the Air Raid?? Could make for some good slogans & T Shirts and some exciting football.

Well easier said than done. I can’t remember the last time Gallatin had a capable quarterback. The kid last year was not that. So please don’t argue that with me, I’ll never agree.

With that being said if the new coach can develop a solid QB, Gallatin can easily take their game to the next level. That’s a big IF though.

    • The people need our help!
    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
