Farragut, Harden Valley, Maryville are the top AAA teams in Knoxville, but all the talk is AA powerhouse Anderson County.  They are big.  They don’t play club, and won’t start playing their best until mid September but the dismantled Oak Ridge who will win AAA District this season, playing JV once the match win, was apparent.  To be a small rural school they play only AAA powers.  I think they are one of the top 5 programs in Tennessee.

Brentwood beat Father Ryan last night.  The two sophomores upfront and the libero were amazing.

Showdown at the Sphere this weekend is LOADED with top teams from Tennessee and Kentucky.  This will be a challenge for all attending.

the first three pools are power pools so the seedings go as below.  The remaining pools are in normal seeding 

1,4,7,10

2,5,8,11

3,6,9,12

Several area teams make it to the GOLD bracket. Most notably Nolensville who finished in the top 4. Brentwood, Summit, and Franklin all made it to GOLD

Cleveland got put out in the first round of SILVER by Father Ryan who ended up making it to the final four along with Ravenwood. Siegal ends up winning the SILVER bracket.
