What a difference a year makes in District 11 AAA.  Statewide, this is easily the wildest season in AAA that I have seen in almost 10 years of watching.

Last week saw Page go 3-0 (Nolensville, siegel, and Brentwood) while Nolensville goes 0-3, 0-2 district (Page, Father Ryan, Summit) dropping their overall record to 7-5.

Independence....who?  Independence! is unapproved website #1 team in the state with a 10-0 record. They will get a huge test this week in district, and state, by playing Summit, Brentwood, and Page.

Brentwood have Nolensville, Independence, and Summit.  Brutal.

Too many good games to mention.  See for yourself if ya like : https://www.unapproved website.com/league/ivJbaaonJUafZcdykdF6gw/standings-aaa-district-11.htm

Things could look a whole lot different this time next week in District 11 AAA.....and state.  Good luck ladies.

Historically,  it wouldn't be much, but the Page / Independence matchup Thursday all of the sudden is VERY interesting!!!

Wow, the craziness continues...Nolensville loses their 5th in a row...Page wins again...Independence falls to Summit.

And that's just the first night of three straight nights of district play this week.  It's been wild.

Brentwood had a little bit of a rough start last night but the girls found their grove and won the next three sets.  #1 Daisy Oatsvall is a weapon up front, I've never seen a girl jump like she can. She is currently 2nd in state with a .493 hitting percentage.  #6 Hannah Tate will do anything to keep the ball from hitting the ground from the libero position while being a weapon from the service line (7 aces last night for her).  Tonight and tomorrow night will be huge.

It looks like Oatsvall has her chest above the top of the net when she hits. It's pretty amazing. Bruins look light years ahead of what I saw them in the pre-season.

Brentwood / Independence winner will set 2nd place in District. Page looks to cement the Patriots in 1st place in the league with a win over Ravenwood. But the way it's going, you never know!

I'll say this though.... Nolensville has probably never been happier to see a Centennial game pop up on their schedule.

And she listed at only 5'9 and can get her chest well above the net.

What a beautiful, crazy mess! Ravenwood loses 6 of their first 7, but claws itself into a 3 way tie in D11 with Page (after defeating them)... and Brentwood (with the win over Indy). I have a feeling this one is going all the way to the end like this. Whoever shows up on any given night has a chance it feels like... no one is really out... yet...

Last night of craziness that has been this week.  Page/Indy game looked much better on paper earlier this week.  Brentwood/Summit will be another big test for each team. I'll say it again, #1 and #6 for Brentwood are worth the price of admission.  #1 is dynamic and explosive while #6 leaves everything on the court....including some skin from time to time.

Summit, takes Brentwood, Franklin over Nolensville...so *for the moment* Ravenwood sits atop the D11 leaderboard while there is a 5-way tie for 2nd LoL. I have a feeling the season will continue this way! With all this stiff competition, whoever fights out of this district should be able to go far!

It's a season long tournament

    • so the players dad who is a recruiter is now at Oakland?
    • We are optimistic because we will have another great season. You should keep your opinions on your Forrest Rocket board. These kiddos at Marion have had an amazing off season. They are working hard and it is showing. Coach TStark is getting these kids scholarships to get their college for free. Also Coach Harm is back so this is another awesome thing for our kiddos. Forrest will get theirs when they come to Bill Baxter Stadium this season. My main men Sam, Tay and Tilton are going to do amazing things this season. You should just watch and see what these kiddos are capable of doing. The Marion County Warriors are a force to be reckoned with again this year. East Robertson will be a good team again but that is the only big challenge this team will have again. If we can beat East Robertson like I know we can then we will go to the state championship and win the game. As always it is a great day to be a warrior. Go Warriors! We are Marion!
    • The player is only able to go because of the coach who is his dad. The dad is a recruiter not a good coach. HC blamed him for losing the Clinton game in the playoffs.
