Elizabethton-West Ridge scrimmage

I would love to know this as well, we play you guys the 2nd game on Aug 25.    I ran into your coach a while back and he was rather non-committal about how WR is looking this year, lol...    As if he would spill it all to a Boone guy

I was not at the scrimmage but Tom Taylor said when the first teams we’re playing Betsy one 28-7.He said Betsy big sophomore running back had two scores and we throw two touchdown passes.

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like it could be another long year for the Wolves although it is a scrimmage. Being just about the only West Ridge fan on here, info is hard to come by. Good luck to the Cyclones this year!

Were the Wolves heavy in Seniors last year? I’m thinking yes.

I'm thinking the opposite. I know they started a sophomore at qb, not sure about the rest of the roster.

Cyclones defense looked much quicker than West Ridge, think they had 6 sacks. Offense looked pretty quick too. Cyclones look to have a good duo at running back one being more power the other more speed. Threw the ball decently imo, but some mistakes from both the QB and receivers from what I saw, but nothing alarming either way.

Sounds good and I figured the offense would be a little behind because of youth on that side of the ball.

Wouldn't be surprised if Betsy was too fast for WR. Science Hill has proven to be too fast for DB, so it should be interesting to see if Betsy's speed functions the same way later in the season.
