It is painfully obvious that these kids weren’t conditioned this summer.

Moore County Fan here and didn’t see the game and haven’t been to a Tullahoma game since Chattanooga two years ago where they won a championship.  But you can definitely tell there are a lot of arm chair coaches here, Tullahoma loses to a larger Murfreesboro team by 14 and they aren’t conditioned, don’t have a QB, and are poorly coached.  Are you listening to yourselves?  From the article it sounds like three big plays hurt the Wildcats and outside of that the defense held SC in check most of the night. Sounds like all you elite experts should just volunteer and do it because the current coaches have no business coaching losing by such a huge margin to a 6A school.  Get a life Tullahoma

I don't think conditioning is the problem at Tullahoma. I believe it will turnout that Stewarts Creek will turnout to be one of the better teams on Tullahoma's schedule this year. I think a lot of people need to realize that Tullahoma right now doesn't have the talent they had from 2018-2021.  I  think Tullahoma, can go on to have a good year. I think  Coach Sisk, are doing the best with what they have to work with.

You may have missed the point of CoachT. Folks come here to speculate, vent, and give opinions (or coaching advice) lol. I'm positive the Tullahoma coaching staff has thick skin and aren't wasting their time with the madness on here. I attended the game and SC could have easily scored 35; however, Tullahoma should have had more than 7. Definitely room for improvement. I don't buy the whole justification of losing because SC is 6A larger Mboro school. Tullahoma is 5A with a pretty good size roster. I definitely don't think 1A Moore Co will be using a sob story when 5A Franklin Co comes into town for homecoming.

Tullahoma will win regardless of poor coaching.

They are in the weakest Region in the state of Tennessee for 5A Football.  They may win the region and lose in the first round of the playoffs to a 4 seed.  The region is just that weak!

No doubt the region is  weak. If Tullahoma doesn't get better on offense, they will be battling Spring Hill for last place. Shelbyville has the best offense, but no defense, Columbia played well against Marshall County. You're  right  first round eliminations are probable.

I guess the good thing is in todays football you do not have to win to keep your job in Tullahoma.  When u are in a really weak region u just have to look competitive to keep ur job.    When the attendance drops in Tullahoma is when u get fired.

As long as John Olive is the athletic director, there will be no changes in the coaching staff. His sons are the offensive coordinators, and I think that is part of the offensive problems, they have had the last two years.  When Nathan Delaughter, was the  QB at Tullahoma he struggled. He transferred to Shelbyville this year, and had a great game against Siegel. I don't know much about Siegel, it will be interesting to see how he does against Marshall County this week,

Maybe but Attendance will get you.  Parents, grand parents and neighbors will always show up but when u are not very good people that like to watch HS Football will go elsewhere.  You can put up all the tents and march in with the band but people still know you are not very good.

Tullahoma had a lot of opportunity to put kids in good programs on the college level in 2021 but it didn't happen.  No help from staff. Staff is all about small time football where they came from.   They have said that the QB that went D3 was the best ever in Olive era.  Was he?  Several better.  Robert Matthews D-1 not much help around him, Barnes TTU, Davis TTU.  Much better with a lot less around them.

When your program is putting kids on the next level, noticeable next level, you will get players.  They had big time playmakers and no one went anywhere.  The year before they had one player.  If they had utilized the WHOLE team that year they are in the championship game back to back years.

Good thing they changed uniforms to Black.  The school primary color is Cardinal not black.  You better be really good to step on the field trying to only look good!  Looking good will not win squat.   Good for taking pictures after games with mommas and smiling after a loss.  Black makes you look slimmer.  Beauty contest!

Tullahoma isn't only school  in this area,  with  players that are overlooked by major colleges, every school around us with exception of Alontae Taylor at Coffee County. Schools down in this area are often overlooked.  I think any  "real" Tullahoma fan, could care less if they are dressed out in  black or cardinal, all they want is better  better performance out of there team.

I think this is where the MAJOR pressure should be coming from. What happens with the region being this down and Tullahoma DOESN'T finish first??

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
