Fairview travels to Waverly

The Yellow Jackets suffered their first loss in school history to East Hickman this past Friday while Waverly allowed a ridiculous amount of points to Camden.  
 

Fairview seems to be really down this year but historically this game has always been a good one to watch. 
 

Can Waverly put up 70+ again this week and send Fairview on a path for a chance of the worst football record in school history or will Fairview tame the Tigers?

 

 How do you guys see this game playing out?

This game could get ugly quick. Fairview is very unexperianced on the LOS. They have skill players with potential to be good i dont think they will reach that potential until later in the season.

Me too but they have numbers and some good backs. I work with a guy that’s son plays linebacker. I heard all week they would beat Fairview.

Fairview is inexperienced and in my opinion lacks leadership on the field.  They have 8 Seniors, with really only 2 seeing playing time in every game last year.   Experience and finding those on field leaders will come, but not in time for them to beat Waverly.  I do think they will compete better than they did last week, this coaching staff always finds ways to get mistakes cleaned up from week to week, but Waverly will have too much for them.

They're definitely better than the average East Hickman team.

i think its interesting that they win games 84-12 all year then peter out. they arent lewis but there is something still there to discuss. agree?
