I agree. This is HVA's toughest test to this point.  Anytime you have a good defense, you have a chance to win. I feel like Halls will win this one, but wouldn't surprise me if HVA wins.

Both teams 3-0, in their 2nd year with current head coaches. Both programs have already made a significant jump from the year prior. Each team will be the best the other has played to date. Should be a great game.

HVA will win this game based on one thing.

Halls takes way too many dumb penalties. They are good but are allowed to be indisciplined on defense. Most penalized team in the county right now.

explain that.

I'm not a fan of the Wing-T offense.

Halls defense will make it a game. I just can’t see the offense pulling it off. They basically run 3 plays.

I feel like you have to have the right kind of athletes to run it. Webb was the best team I ever saw run it and be successful with it. I think it will be hard for HVA to win with it in their region.   They're 3-0 and I think that is great!! I want to see Coach Miner succeed!

I just think it won't work in 6A.

For sure you have to have certain types of athletes to run it. Oakland under Creasy used to run it and beat Maryville, I don't know if they still do or not, but I think some years they could have ran the wishbone and still won.

A great game, HV hasn't played anyone so this will be their 1st true test then next week gets real for them so lets see how it starts to unfold when you play some competition.
