Final 57-14.

Chargers travel to Liberty next week. What happened to the strong Liberty teams they had 10 or 12 years ago? They seem to be the weak team in this region now.

In '15 Liberty made the simi's, and in 16 they got the silver ball...in the seven seasons since they have totaled 5 wins so far and are working on their fourth consecutive winless season.

Not trying to be funny, it's sad for the kids.

JMCSS literally and figuratively pulled the rug out from underneath a proud (if young) program by not funding athletics or supporting their coaches. Liberty had the world by the tail by being labeled a "Magnet School" within the boundaries of a large city, and able to pull (recruit) kids from all over the county. A long list of great coaches left Liberty from lack of support after playing for and winning state championships in multiple sports. JCM has now replaced Liberty as the jewel in JMCSS's crown, but has already had setbacks over coaches salary disputes with two legendary coaches packing their stuff and cutting ties... remains to be seen if they have learned (or care) from their mistakes.

Thanks for the info. So it was 7 or 8 years ago that they were good. I could not remember. I knew they walked all over our Covington squad a couple of times.
