Upperman by 2-3 scores

DC could give Upperman a game if 15 plays (was hurt early in the year but played against us). If not, DC won’t be able to put points on the board. He is the only real threat on offense that DC has

I enjoy keeping up with this region. Always seems to come down to the wire between the top 4/5 teams to scratch and claw for that #1 spot and to get into the postseason

I think Upperman wins it, MC 2nd, Stone 3rd, and DC 4th (if 15 plays the last 2 weeks)

While they do give you a lot to look at, they didn’t look as explosive and have as many playmakers at years past outside of #15. That kid can hit pay dirt any time he touches the football

I think upperman at 2 is a little high

Maybe, but "nowhere near top 5" is a laughable statement. He just can't stand his Night Chickens getting barbequed by the Bees. One could argue Marshall or Anderson should be there instead but besides those two, I just don't see it. But it won't matter once the playoffs come

A 4A school beats a 2A school 14-0 and thats getting bbq'd? If Lower Cookeville is top 2 then the "night chickens" should be undisputable #1 in 2A.

Coach is just going easy on y'all. Cookeville is already afraid to play Baxter County again so he's trying to keep local teams on the schedule. :thumb:

BTW the U has one of the highest Strength of Schedules in 4A. In fact it's the highest out of all the teams in the top 10. Their ranking is well deserved. I don't think you have an honest opinion on this topic and are just seething at the Bees success :bored: and Smith Co IS one of the top 5 in 2A, just not on the AP poll. You'll have to use computer rankings to get a more accurate picture.

Given your extensive coverage of football and the apparent breadth of your expertise, I am inclined to seek your esteemed opinion on the matter: who, in your estimation, emerges as the favored candidate? Furthermore, since the mantle of head coach has been vacated, upon whom would you bestow the mantle of leadership?

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
