Unusual for a team to advertise for a head football coach in early October.  What's going on there?

Who would want to coach for a principal that would fire a coach in the middle of the year? No excuse for this to happen to a HS coach.

I imagine they'll get plenty of candidates.

Franklin High School is looking for a Head Varsity Football Coach for the 2024-25 school year. All who are interested should send their resumes to Assistant Principal, Toby Ruth, edwinr@wcs.edu, and Athletic Director, Jay Johnson, jayj@wcs.edu.

 

I cannot imagine any Tennessee high school coach with championship experience or aspirations would apply for any Williamson County high school football coaching position after seeing this institutional behavior.
