TSSAA isn't doing their own investigating.  You know that right?  Anything they do is based on info turned in by member schools.

Like l said D2AAA teams have the resources (people looking into stuff so they can get info on their opponents illegal activities) and motivation to get their opponents in trouble. I thought that would explain that other schools are turning info into TSSAA. I have heard that some schools hire private investigators. Plus the TSSAA takes more interest into what's happening closest to them. I am sure pressure comes from certain people in Davidson and surrounding counties. I don't know the stats but l have never really heard of any private schools outside of the midstate area getting in trouble other than Grace Christian - Knoxville during the Coach McCamey years.

There are many, and there are more that would lose if anyone wanted to turn them in on Social Media posts.  I saw a high profile 4a school had a middle schooler on campus practicing with high schoolers this weekend.  It's a clear violation.  and all theyd have to do is turn in a social media post.  It's amazing how dumb progams are when it comes to social media.

For decades Dobyns Bennett in Kingsport has been accused of recruiting.      It usually takes the flavor of something like "Well, lookee there, a job @ Eastman just happens to open up to the parent(s) of a new football player...."                 There is really an easy way to debunk this myth but a few locals still seem to cling to it.
