I tend to think as you do. Moog, the Mavs great all purpose back, great student and exceptional person tried to get Hall to lay down or go to the sideline in real time.

I have went back and watched it a couple of times. He was on the sideline for the official timeout to get him off the field, a play that had a false start, and a play that went no where. So after staggering around and showing clear confusion as to where he was at he might’ve been out of play for two minutes of real time. I’m not a doctor but I don’t believe that’s enough time to be assessed for a concussion. On top of that it appears he puts hisself back in the game and no one does anything to stop it. No young person is going to want to leave the game. That’s where adults come in.

Absolutely, war story. 1971 the Hill scrimmaged Summerville SC who was at Appy State summer camp. I hit the lead fullback in the hole and we drop. I felt so strange. Next play I made the tackle and went to the huddle. I hear laughing everywhere. To this day I hear a strong calm coach’s voice. You’re playing well but I’m going sub you anyway. 2 Summerville players walked me out of their huddle to my sideline. I was back a series later. We should be well beyond that in 2023.

I went back and watched it again and again.  There is no way Hall acts like that and stumbles and sways  back and forth, comes out for 2 plays and is able to come back in game after being evaluated by training staff and is cleared after only 2 plays!  Gillium, Terry, Lambert, Chadwell the entire AC staff should have not let him go back in after 2 plays had passed. I’ll be surprised if TSSAA doesn’t get involved, he shouldn’t have went back in regardless of how bad the coaches wanted to win, that’s not a very good look for ANDERSON COUNTY’s  Staff, Program, Administration.  Regardless of how you want to spin it, the tape don’t lie, Last I checked whoever said Gilliam knew he was ok, He ain’t a DOCTOR!

Greenville Devils will not be able to mercy rule Anderson Mavericks in this game. It will not happen. I guarantee it. Does anyone want to bet me?  Anderson Mavericks are too good to let it happen. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

I knew I was right again about this game. Anderson Mavericks were too good to let it happen. Anderson Mavericks had a good season. Greeneville Devils get to keep playing their season. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
