Word on the street, John Wilkins is going to Brentwood. Rebels basically losing 2 head coaches in one move. Will they hire separate boys and girls coaches or hire one person for both?  Preston or Drew or a combination or do they go outside the system. Should be an attractive job.

I think they will be separate and one very well could come from outside.  Coach Drew should have his choice.

Not sure but also not so sure it is an attractive job... Following Wilkins with all the success he had with a lot less talent... Not so attractive.

The boys side is not hurting near as bad as the girls side.  The 8th graders coming for the girls will help tremendously if they all play.  Jacey Stafford is really good. The others around her, with the right coach, will be fine once they grow and develop.  I have watched them develop more and more since they were in 6th grade.

Coach Lowery seems to have done a pretty good job at Gibson County. Imma say this is good hire. Not a lot of coaches would want to follow Coach Wilkins...
