Covington @ Scott’s Hill - week 4

Covington will visit Scott’s Hill this week. Westview just scored 70 points on them. I can almost guarantee that Covington will not score that many. Last year we won this game 42-0. 
 

The Chargers will be heavy favorites to win. I would expect Coach Kirby to get a comfortable lead then ask the JV to finish the game. We will see how it unfolds Friday night.

Y'all have a very stout program CHARGERFAN, and classy coach or not nobody expects the 2'nd and 3'rd stringers not to give their best effort. I have no doubt that pretty early your coach calls the dogs off...after that point whatever the score is, it just is.

Apparently we are in a cycle to expect rain every Friday night. The Weather Channel predicts a 50% chance of rain for Friday night, Sept. 13. 
 

I’ll plan to take my rain gear. Took it for last week’s Dyersburg game and all we got was a short sprinkle.

We really needed the rain, but needed or not Scotts Hill got a frog strangler Friday night!

 Just heard from Coach Kirby that the Covington -Scott’s Hill game has been moved to Covington Friday night.

Maybe so, but I doubt it.  It does sound like the best thing to do for both teams.  Should I pursue a new career as a soothsayer?

Covington should be good sports and load up only the JV on the bus.

BTW, I just saw that Covington will still be considered the visiting team. Covington season tickets will not be honored for this game. Tickets can be bought on GoFan, or for cash at the gate.
