Alcoa is a different animal that's for sure.  I don't think AC is scared of them.

Alcoa is a great program no doubt.  This thread though.... sheesh, haters everywhere.

There's like 3 AC people in here and 7 pages of haters.  I know a couple coaches and a few kids still in that program. I'm not hiding behind a screen name.  I've met them,  know them and think pretty highly of them.

I think they'll line up,  play and whatever happens,  happens.  Move on.  But scared?  No.

You still just can’t move on with your miserable life can you? Hating every day because kids want to be a part of a program that wins & helps kids reach their potential. Quit being a loser sheriff.

They’re being recruited to join the so called “D1 P4” QB coming up. I guess he can’t do it with the home grown boys. This time the Campbell county transfers ain’t enough

Programs that succeed without any transfers are outliers. Last year's 4A champion might be one, but top programs like Alcoa, Maryville, Powell, and even AC rely on at least some transfers to stay competitive. Success attracts talent, and talent fuels success. Your trolling is entertaining, but it falls apart under scrutiny.

Success does attract talent no doubt. But let’s call it what it is for some programs.
Alcoa & Maryville don’t have to recruit. They get players coming to them all are welcome and some leave once they realize they can’t cut it

Places like Powell, Bearden, AC(North Bearden) have to seek out the players and actively recruit.

Those two things are not the same. Especially when North Bearden is having “doctors” buy a truck for parents of a recruit from Seymour

I couldn't imagine 10 new kids taking 10 spots from AC kids going over well within the program. Gonna be a lot of hurt feelings.

Based on this thread, the hurt feeling are coming from the AC haters.

When a kid transfers to AC it's recruiting. When a kid transfers to a Blount county school it's not.  Got it. [S]

Has nothing to do with my original point.... AC is a great program that's came along way in the past 8 or so years but buddy, historically they're no Alcoa or Maryville. Just calling it like I see it.

I have followed AC very closely the last 7-8 years. I know many people over that way. And by no means do I think Alcoa will blow AC out of the water. I think this game will be better than anticipated by some. Every bigger school that is good at sports gets transfers, that’s just how it is. Great players, great coaches, great community, Hook em! 🤟🏻

I know they're not.  No one is saying otherwise. This is the logic that people are using and it makes no sense.  That's what I said

Kids transfer to play at school A- not recruiting

Kids transfer to play at school B- recruiting
