Div. II - key match-ups

The ECS victory over a visiting Father Ryan, and Father Ryan's comeback the next day taking out Briarcrest seems to have cleared up (at least temporarily) the pecking order for D2 teams.

 

This weekend Harding and Hutchison will play visiting Brentwood Academy on Fri. and Sat. to further show who's where.

 

S.B.E.C. has played tough in two losses to St. Agnes and Hutchison and then thoroughly demolished St. Benedict.

 

Bishop Byrne is playing strong with a win over Harding and their sole loss coming at Bishop Sullivan of Louisiana.

 

It's very early, but how are teams looking?

Harding one year away, Sarah Phipps is their best player and she is a freshman. Next year Danielle Woods, Phipps, McGinnis, Whitney Williams, and Sha Farmer, this team will be a dandy. But right now id say top 5, the loss to Bishop Byrne was careless, shouldnt have happened. They beat a decent Munford team and should beat a Bartlett(who they where beating at halftime of the Hall Of Fame game) and Brentwood Ac.

 

ECS is best team in memphis(d2).

 

Briarcrest is second best, but all they have is Jada Mincy, Mincy and Mincy! Still a decent team that will win 20 games. And it is a down year!
