Melissa Harvey had 20 points for the Lady Indians while Blythe Broom had 11 & Lydia Clendenon had 9.

Congratulations to Marion County defense. They didnt win the game but kept the Kell girl to 2 points. Good job defense youll have another shot at the indians.

The Marion Co. defense didn't shut Kell down, her own team

shut her down by not feeding her the ball. If the MC defense

is so good why did one starter foul out and another with

4 fouls "trying" to guard the post position? Kell is glad to have

teammates that will step up and score when they see the

post is not open, instead of feeding the ball into

defense to create turnovers. One thing remember this is

a team sport, its not about individual excellence on the

court it's about working together. One personal note about

Kell, she is nursing dislocating shoulders, was just

released from physical therapy on her right ankle that very

well will need surgery after the season, and is nursing

lower back spasms. She has to roll on the floor during time

outs to stretch the muscles in her back. Despite all this

she has never missed a practice, playing a game, or the

Christmas Tournament. True Athletes have heart and

dedication. They are able to play thru pain and weakness.
