TSSAA and new Seigle HS Mboro

Does anyone know how the TSSAA will rule on transfers to the new high school from another district playing for the new basketball team. I would appreciate any information on this subject.

How did the school board do it with Blackmon High School? In other counties, I believe Station Camp is dealing with it now and Walker Valley delt with it a couple of years ago.

If a student is zoned for the new school, then he or she can transfer and be elgible immediately. However, if a student is transferring from a school to the new school and is coming from a residence not zoned for the new school, then he or she would have to sit out for a year. Athletes can participate in JV games however.

That is exactly how Station Camp is dealing with it.
