Rockwood is currently 17-4. Tied with Harriman in the district. Remaining games are at Coalfield, Warrtburg at home and Cosby at home. Tigers should be angry after a Saturday loss at Oliver Springs. I feel sorry for Coalfield ! The Wartburg game will be a tough one. The Tigers won on last second free throws during the earlier game with the Bulldogs. Wartburg plays excelent defense, but I think the Tigers will have too much fire power. Cosby will be a tough one also. Cosby will bring a #5 ranking in A to the jungle but will leave with a loss. :)

Don't worry Loco, the Cosby Eagles and their loud and proud fans will show up next Thurs. and be ready to show

you who's the best in East TN. this year. The games that

mean the most are the the ones played 2-24 - 3-7.

If the tiggggerrrrs are still playing.

The Cosby Eagles will be.

Cman, how about scores from tonight..???

Good to see that OS got back at Rockwood. Kane Ringley and the rest of them have had some horrible luck and are due to have things bounce their way for once. Good luck to Rockwood on the rest of the season. Of all the other Roane Co. teams, I have the most respect for Rockwood, it goes back to playing baseball against them, Coach Lane is a great man. Beat the s*** out of Harriman and make it to the state, you're probably the only boys team out of Roane Co. that has a shot.

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
