Brentwood Academy 2003 Football Schedule

For those interested, here is the tentative (and incomplete right now) Brentwood Academy football schedule for next season:

 

8/22 @ Centennial

8/29 @ Murfreesboro Oakland

9/5 Christian Brothers

9/12 @ Harding Academy

9/19 @ McCallie

9/26 Open

10/3 Father Ryan (homecoming)

10/10 Memphis University School

10/17 Open

10/24 @ Baylor

10/31 Montgomery Bell Academy

 

I'm sure the 9/26 or 10/17 open date will be filled soon.

Hmmm, very interesting to see Oakland and Centennial on there. I know Franklin will NEVER play BA for obvious reasons. Oakland doesn't suprise me as much as Centennial does. But then again, they've played Father Ryan the past two years. That'll be one game I'll be torn on for next year already. Go Cougles!

Just wondering what the obvious reasons that Franklin would never play BA?

Coming from BA my sophomre year, I heard nothing but how Franklin will never play BA, at least in football. According to the multiple people I heard this from, it was because the coaches simply don't want to because of the recruting violations. Of course, it's a new coach and that may be different. Not trying to stir anything up though, so I'll refrain from further posts here.

I thought BGA would be on too, but unless they become one of the non-region games, doesn't look that way.

I bet that BGA will be the other AA school on the schedule. Harding is the only one on there right now and they have to play two of them...or is it that the AA schools have to play two AAA schools? Or are both of those statements correct?

Surprising to see BA @ Baylor. I think they played at Baylor in 2002.

That BA-Franklin rift goes way back to Kent Austin's transfer in '78.

Austin's back as a coach so the rilvary could be a great chance to get back some intensity.
