Coaches or people in the know please help with inf

How difficult is it to get a HS boys basketball coaching job in the Nashville area? My fiance might be coming to Vandy for grad school, but that depends partly on if I can find employment there. I am PE and Health certified in Missouri, and have been a varsity assistant and freshmen coach for 5 years now at a 5A high school. Please give me any info you can, and if you know of a well connected coach who always knows what is going on in the area, please give me his name and school also. Anything you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks.

For Metro schools the hard thing is to get a teaching job with your PE certification. Once you get in a lot of jobs will depend on where you teach. If there is not an immediate teaching position where a coaching position is available, the dismissal time of teaching assignments often conflict with those of coaching assignments.

As far as getting a head coaching position you really need to be corked up someone's butt!
