I will be attending the Boyd @ CCS game tomorrow. I am a Boyd fan, and I pick Boyd to win this match. The reason I do is not because I am a Boyd fan, but because Cook has not been doing to well for CCS this year. I believe, that in order for CCS to win the game tomorrow, Cook has to have a good game, and the rest of the team has to play at a 9 or a 10 level throughout the entire game. Healy will play tomorrow, so Boyd doesn't have to worry about not playing well. If Boyd plays like the have been playing, I believe there is no way for CCS to come out with a W.

CCS is a good team but so it Boyd. We will see the best of both teams I am sure. CCS seems not to be as good as previous years and Boyd seems to be better. So I would have to give the game to Boyd as long as they play well and play hard, but you never know, any night any team can win. This promises to be an awesome game.

Boyd will come out with the win for sure. Cook is not producing what he needs to for CCS to beat a well rounded team like boyd. Anyone of Boyd's 5 starters could shut down Cook. There is no way a 1-2 man team can beat a great, 5 senior-starter team. Anybody on Boyd can have a 20 point game. You just can't focus on shutting down 1-2 guys on Boyd bc anyone can do it, unlike CCS where Boyd only has to focus on 2 guys. Boyd will come out on top by 10 or more.

Too bad Lance Sexton couldn't shut Cook down, and ya'll don't have a player half as good as him. Don't be too quick to knock on Cook and the rest of the team, they did get beat badly by Red Bank and Soddy, but they've been playing well lately and handled Soddy last game by 20 with Cook scoring around 25. CCS isn't just going to lay down, I mean how many times has the CCS-Boyd game been a blowout? I doubt it will be decided by more than 10.

Yeah, the schedule page is missing two of the Bucs' games.

They are 11/19 at Tellico Plains--score BBS 54 Tellico 33

and on 11/30 the Bucs beat CAK 62-60. This game was played at Temple in the Temple Classic

So, yes the Bucs are 14-3 with a big game coming up next Thurs against Temple. GO BUCS!

Boyd won the game because of their well-rounded team. Will Healy didn't have his average amount of points but he scored when Boyd needed him the most. The thing about Boyd is that you can't just shut down 1-2 players. Matt Richman, Blake Beckham, Alex Jones, Billy Ringold all had double figures and Will Healy had 9. Their isn't a 1a team like this in Chattanooga. I'm looking foward to Temple@ Boyd Thursday night.

No other 1A team in Chattanooga like Boyd? CCS, LV, and Temple would give Boyd all they wanted and any of those teams are definately on the same level as Boyd. No disrespect to Boyd, ya'll have a good team, but to say there's no other 1A team in the city like you is a little farfetched. Kind of like you expected Boyd to blow CCS out, it just didn't happen.

As an affialiate of CCS you didn't take what I said the right way. I said there isn't a 1a team like Boyd where you have to stop all 5 guys. Temple, CCS, LV? maybe they will give all Boyd can handle but you'll have to stop 5 guys not 1-2. I think it is fair to say Boyd is the only 1a team in Chattanooga like this.

    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
