My favorite baseball brawl

Okay, am I the only one who still loves seeing the tape of the beat down that Nolan Ryan gave Robin Ventura?

It was a good one but back in the 60s when Juan Marichal smashed John Roseboro over the head with the baseball bat has to be my most well entrenched memory of a baseball brawl.

I'm going more recent...either last year or two years ago, can't remember which, Pawtucket Red Sox. Izzy Alcantara at the plate, he gets buzzed with a fastball, glares at the pitcher, takes two steps back, kicks the catcher in the face, and then charges the mound. *THAT* was a funny one.

This hasn't really turned into a brawl yet, but I like seeing Mike Piazza and Roger Clemems go at it.

that was by far the best Azz-kickin' ever in MLB. My brother was at that game.

I liked Piazza against that pansy from the Dodgers. And the crazy look in his eyes afterwards. Wow I wouldn't want to fight him anytime soon.

That fight that you were talking about has got to be the funniest one ever Opperman. But what about these fights recently. First we had the Adam Dunn brawl. Then the Jason Kendall one. And last the Kyle Farnsworth Paul Wilson one. Farnsworth needs to teach some of those Chicago Bears how to do that. I have all 3 of these taped now.

Farnsworth-Wilson was great. That and Miguel Batista-Tino Martinez earlier are my two favorites this season.

When I was typing that I was thinking about Miguel, I had forgot that it was him and Tino though. He should know better than to mess with the Cards. Didn't he throw the ball at Tino?

The Farnsworth-Wilson brawl is awesome. Talk about a man getting beat down...
