Results from Jr. High T-N-T Tourney???

Does anyone know how the games went in the T-N-T tournament today? I am interested in boys and girls games, preferrably Red Boiling Springs.

Both boys and girls teams for David Lipscomb beat White House in 5A.

Is this the same tournament that allowed a team play that had four recruited players to play for one team?

Both (Red Boiling Springs teams) won easily, girls by 24 and boys also by double figures,with the b=teams playing just about all the fourth quarter.

I believe Coopertown had to rally past Lake City--our arch-rival at Norris--to win their 1st Rd game by the final score of 28-24. Had LC scored in the 4th, they probably win since LC held a 24-21 lead after 3 only to lay a goose egg in the 4th. LC had some serious size in the paint as the Dupree sisters worked the paint for 20pts--8th grader Emily had 14ps and 6th grader Faith had 6pts.

ALL I am going to say about Lake City's boys is that if you (Pickett Co) hope to beat them you must play TEAM ball. LCs coach is a class act as well as a very good friend of mine on and off the court my friend. He is an excellent motivator and doea an excellent job--a carry over from his ALL-OVC days at Tech.

 

Normally, a coach may talk about how to beat his arch-rival, but not in this case as I value the friendship between Coach Cupples and myself. Hope you all understand!!
