West Tenn. Top 10

To coincide with my "ponying up" to become a Plus Member, I am releasing my West Tenn. Top 10 for the last full week of the regular season. Once again this doesn't include Shelby County teams, not because I don't consider them a part of West Tennessee but because they have their own Dandy Dozen. Border county teams get a chance to be in both! After great study and gathering input, as well as weeping & gnashing of teeth, here goes:

 

1.Gibson Co.

2.Chester Co.

3.Obion Co.

4.Westview

5.Jackson Northside

6.Trenton

7.Dyersburg

8.South Fulton

9.Brighton

10.Dresden

 

Honorable Mention(in no particular order)

Huntingdon, McNairy Co., Scotts Hill

No one said you had to be a plus member I just mentioned the timing. You sure are big on rights! Maybe you have a future with the ACLU since all of your posts are to the LEFT. Oh, I forgot I guess you're going to post 25 more times that Westview is overrated.

Westview is not overrated but will likely benefit from their schedule this last week. The Lady Chargers get a pair of cream puffs(no disrespect intended) in Milan & Southside while most of the rest of the top ten battle each other.

There is no benefit from playing cream puffs, we needed to play Dyersburg last nite.....

Is Dyersburg a not creme puff? You said Houston was not impressive at Thanksgiving.... they were ahead of D'burg by 33 in the 3rd quarter. Which is it? creme puff or HHS is better than you think?

I'm with you Wescharge,don't worry about these people on here trying to put our girls down. Me and you both know that these people on here that are"trying" to put the VIEW down they are the ones who will be giving us our props when our GIRL'S & BOY'S make it to STATE!!!

Leaving out the Shelby county teams is logical if you want to give credit to teams who would otherwise not be in any top ten rankings, just don't call it a "West Tennessee" ranking. I've never seen Middle TN rankings without Davidson county teams or an East TN poll without Knox county, but, hey, it's a free country. If you want a watered down top ten, but not REALLY a top ten, that's your perogative.

west tennesseans don't think memphis is part of them.....other than 3 or 4 teams, girls basketball is weak down there anyways.

 

 

Give memphis to Mississippi and both states education level would rise......

you're right, wescharge....i remember how salty you were last year when that weak Memphis team Ridgeway put a hurtin on your team. It could very well be worse this year for you guys--guess what??!! THEY'RE BETTER! If they are weak then what does that tell you about.....
