Who would be the best State Championship matchups

In single A, would easily be UJS vs. JCS. They are the two best teams in the state and are only 5 miles down the road from one another. Jackson is only an hour from memphis, think of how many people would be at that game.

Now that they have revamped the format to accomodate JCS, maybe the Eagles will make it to the championship so that they can lose to USJ, just one more time in a season. I'm for Columbia Academy and USJ. Perhaps someday a public school will actually have a chance to play in a championship, but not this year.

I don't think the state tournament was revamped to accommodate JCS, for years baseball has been asking why softball can bring in 8 teams to the tournament and baseball can bring in only 4. This way more teams can go to state... more fans to watch the games... cha--ching $$$. Since 1996 District 14-A has sent a team to the state tournament; USJ - 3 trips / JCS- 4 Many of those years both teams were better than some of the competition at the state tournament, but one would put the other out in region play. Two teams from basketball can go to the state tournament, why not baseball....

Milan vs. Lexington would not be a good state championship game at all. You must be kidding. I have played against Milan and Lexington. Lexington is 10 times better.
