7aaa Vs. 8aaa

How do you think the Region tourney will end up. Lawrence County I beleive really surprised some ppl with there big win over Cookeville. I think that the games are going to be better match-ups then what ppl expected. Predictions...

Oakland 1. Will win tourny with very experienced seniors.

Lawrence County 2. Young team that is playing well with recent win over Cookeville

Shelbyville 3. Sucess rides on Senior guard Baker, and Freshman Guard Twilley

Blackman 4. David Price

Columbia should give a good run.

 

Also Lawrence Co. is very well coached and extremely disciplined. They could pull an upset somewhere.

I say the Columbia Lions will prevail! My tourney upset...Lincoln County over Shelbyville!

Oakland will win the Region.......I would be very surprised if they don't.....

 

I think it will be an upset pick for the #2 spot.... Watch out for my sleepers, Riverdale and Shelbyville... Both have been playing very well at the end of the season overall, and both have good balance....

 

I like Columbia, and think Wadele is the best in the Region, but they are a suspect to be upset... No other team outside of Shelbyville and C will even make a dent from 8AAA.....

 

Final 4....Oakland, Riverdale, Shelbyville, Columbia (Lebanon would be my next pick)... Oakland and Riverdale make it out.... Oakland advances to State if healthy.... Loses to Bradley or Cleveland if not healthy.......

Don't count Cookeville out, they have their on and off nights

From watching Shelbyville play this year they are not half as good as LC. Coffee County is as good as Shelbyville. Colombia will finish number two in the region behind Oakland.

I think that you are a little bias toward 7aaa and Shelbyville. I don't beleive that you have actually seen much of 8aaa. I know that you like Shelbyville but they are really not that good. Senior guard Baker is good and so is Freshmen guard Twilley but Twilley does not have the experience to make it thru the tourny. I think that Shelby will make it out of Distict in 3rd place. As for region, they are gone in the 1st round. Region is anybody's grab I believe. It is going to be more intresting than what you expected

I honestly don't think anyone in 8AAA is that good.... I do think Shelbyville has the potential (depth, athletes, outside shooting, decent post play, scorers) to possibly make a run..... Lawrence Co is terrible; I like their team and their coach, especially Dez McGuire, but they are just not good.... The rest of 8AAA is even worse....
