HIMSELF!!!Perkins was out there all alone on the courts hitting the ball to the fence....He would hit a few balls then he would go to the other side and hit them back....Practicing or whatever you call it, You know that he was getting better and more prepared...Whoever plays Lewis County this year in tennis, You better be ready, Because you are going to up against a machine...My Prayers are with you....

Today it at 6:05am Andrew "Swift Racket"Perkins was spotted playing tennis. When i asked him why he was playing in the snow he stated "When you are as good as i am you need to develop your techniques in all the possible conditions, you never know when your out of the country in a tournament and it starts snowing,I feel practicing in the rain, snow, sun, and wind give me the ultimate advantage"There you have it everyone if you want to be a good tennis player(I don't know why you would) play in all type's of weather.38 more days!!!

I think I should explain something to Lorie, the countdown is until tennis season and the "guns" is eric "guns" mcknights nickname. There is no talk about fighting on here. We call him guns because his arms are big and he is really BUFF.

    • I think Gibson County is a top five team this next season but I do agree they will drop off a lot after this year.  Westview lost a ton and will be down this season and hopes of returning to glass house again is slim.  The run they have had is super impressive!
    • My take on GC for this year: Based on what I saw last year and heard this summer, I’m not sure GC could surprise me next year with any outcome. Wilkins is a great coach - they could win the district and region and go to Murfreesboro. They could also come in third in the district and not get out of region. The two returning starters are very talented but Guru is right that they didn’t always play hard last year. The other three starters are good enough in their roles for GC to be successful. There is no depth. Foul trouble could be a problem - Wilkins may avoid it by playing a lot of zone. An injury would be catastrophic. I hope they have a big year and Wilkins rides off into the sunset in Murfreesboro because, without some significant transfers, there are some tough years coming in the next few.
    • Daniel Boone coming down to 3A makes this much tougher. They added a couple transfers to the Flores girl. Cocke Co, Northview, Greeneville, and Daniel Boone - only two headed to Murfreesboro.
