Maryville won 58-48, but I haven't heard anything about the stats from the game.

Maryville was led by Lee Humphrey once again with 29 pts. Andy Tipton added 11. They advance to play William Blount Friday night in the championship game. The govs are playing well, but I guarantee what happened last year during the playoffs (WB upset over Maryville at the Region Tournament) is fresh on the minds of the players from Maryville and it won't happen again. WB will come out and play box and 1 against Lee, but Maryville will have success early and take them out of it. Maryville by 10.

Lee was awesome last night.

 

Anybody who says Lee is not athletic should have seen this game. He was taking the ball to the hole. He showed his quickness and ball handling skills a lot last night. He abused that guard trying to guard him.

 

I spoke to Lee last night.I told him it was a pleasure watching him play basketball the last few years. He was a nice young man. I told Lee Humphrey and Drew Houser that I plan on going to the State Tournament and I want to see the Rebels there.They told me that they want to be there and they will try their best to get there.
