Never thought in my wildest dreams that Wartburg would hand it to Harriman and Rockwood this season. It says a lot about the Bulldogs and Coach Layne. I saw them early in the season against Anderson County in a Hall of Fame game. Honestly, he should be a lock for East Tennessee Single A Coach of the Year. Good luck in the regionals.......

Vespie your a heck of a player. I have nothing but respect for the Wartburg team. They are a heck of a ball team and they deserved the district title. I would have been cheering for you tonight if you played any other team besides my tigers but Good Job on the season.

wartburg you guys had an awesome season. i tip my hat to you guys. i have a deeper respect for you guys now. ya'll have shown everybody that you can hang in the district now. i agree wih loco....you guys deserved that district title. you guys have a heck of a coach. i look for him to take you guys a long way in the next few years. i would have like to seen you guys play cosby. it would have been a good game. but i'm more than happy that my tigers pulled it out. good luck in the future.
