Sevier Co. and Shelbyville

Baconbreath where were you? At the rec center. That gym was more than half full. The only section that had seats was the top on the visitors side. It was no where near capacity but it was a nice crowd.

i'd be glad to bet that shelbyville's greatest concern right now is mt juliet. and sevier, i reckon they are mostly worried about melrose. it is tournament time, there wont be no gimme's, and i figure a sevier-shelbyville matchup is no better than a 50/50 possibility.

Shelbyville will be playing Melrose in the semis. Sheilds is going for 43 and a victory over Sevier County. In the semis-Shields will score 21 and her team will score only 25 when Shelbyville's defense put the clamps on Melrose.

I think Sevier is in enough trouble Thursday. How will they contain Ashley Shields? Can Sevier score enough points to off set her? If they win will they have anything left for Shelbyville?

I've seen every state tournament game since 1994 and every semi-final and final since 1990.Th thing i've notice about the Memphis teams are they are very athletic they like to play like boys teams which is up and down and sometimes out of control.Usually when they play teams who play strong defense they have trouble.I will go with Sevier in this game.

I know I can speak for almost all coaches in saying I wish that we had to win the state in order to bring a capacity crowd to a game. This means expectations are high and they do not just have a team, they have a PROGRAM! GLTA

i'm kinda partial to sevier co but i think they can handle her. In the region title game, they held brittney frazier to 2, count em, 2 points in the second half. if these girls show up and play as a team, there's no stoppin the bearettes.

Hey freak... great point... Sevier County actually held Fraizer to 2 points for three quarters. I think she had nine or seven the first quarter and scored 2 the rest of the game. The She-Bears will contain just about any great player. It's happened over and over each year.
