i just wanted to say yes it was a heck of a ballgame. i just wished we came out on top but you guys hit the ball more and seemed to have wanted it more than we did...great game and maybe miller will get more hits next time.

When does Krantz get to face his old team? He probably should have gotten the North job several years ago, but they gave it to that guy from Carolina. North vs. Central could have a big impact on the conference race. North has had until recent years a great baseball tradition, and Central is just now starting one in the Krantz era, should be a good game. I'll go and sit in the cheap seats.

Volunteer is 1-3 in the conference. They beat Happy Valley and lost to North, Central and Elizabethton in conference play.

The first game was rained out. I think ? there is agreement to play a DH on the rematch date on April 15 which is a Central Home game.

Happy Valley won 14-2.

 

Britton Brummitt pitched the whole game (as usual) and Cody Cannon hit a home run. I think this puts Happy Valley at 2-4 in the Watauga now.
