impressive display by the Farragut Admirals

Farragut managed to stomp the Central Bobcats Monday night to the tune of 30-4. They also barely squeaked by them in the Play day @ Oak Ridge last weekend. Just goes to show you anyone can beat anyone on any given day. But central was no match for Farragut's ace Craig Cobb. Very impressive. Look for farragut in the State finals.

Yes the score looked like the Admirals did every single thing but there are many places to improve....Craig Cobb threw alright but he will only get better.

Can anyone tell me about Kyle Waldrop. I heard he is a pretty good picther. Where does he fall in the rotation? Does he play other positions? I hope the Admirals used up all of their hits before they play my Bulldogs on Firday.

central wasn't playing with a full aresnal.....don't count out the bobcats just yet!

Kyle is a 6'5" RHP/1B/OF.....upper 80's - lower 90's with good command of several other pitches. A hitter for average (the bomb when necessary) and excellent poise and control on the mound.

the admirals took advantage of some mistakes by the bobcats and capitalized when men were on base. clint lensgraf went 3-3 with a 1B, 3B, and a grand slam...total it up for 8 RBI's! Kyle Waldrop is a great all around athlete who could have very well been starting for the basketball team, and probably could even play quarterback for farragut! he throws upper 80's and is a solid pitcher with a good bat and great feel for the game!

Yes, unfortunately it had to be after five innings. Central is a much better team than they showed. Fightinanchor15 is a respected member of the farragut admirals organization.
